I just found out that Konfabulator is now a free download, and works
with OS X 10.2 Jaguar, which I use at home. Does anyone know if these
widgets are compatible with widgets in OS X 10.4 Tiger?

I did answer this for you in the PCI forum, but for the benefit of
those here that are equally curious, but don't get the PCI list, here
it is again:
I've been playing around with Amnesty (which for $20 lets you run
Tiger's widgets on 10.3.9) and the new free Konfabulator.
The respective widgets are not compatible with the other. Also Apple's
widgets will not run under Amnesty. Not that they couldn't, Amnesty
recognizes them, but grays them out. And not every 3rd party Tiger
widget works with Amnesty.
My overall impression is that Konfabulator is more stable, but the
Tiger (Amnesty) widgets are more polished. I particularly liked
Wikipedia, Scoreboard, Google Maps, Reversi, and US Weather Plus. There
was only 1 for Konfabulator that I think I would use.
I wanted to see what the hype was all about and now that I have, I
removed both Amnesty and Konfabulator from my system.
