Does anyone know how to make a boot CD/DVD from scratch? I know you can get an image, and instructions on tools for creating one, out on the internet, but what does it actually take, to make a CD/DVD bootable under OS X?
I have an image that I burned, and its not bootable. It was created using Nero, which is only PC. I think I can follow some inctructions to create a bootable image, and then copy these files over to that image, but perhaps there's a simpler solution. And yes, if you're wondering Nero images do seem to be ISO images...with a different extension...so you can change the extension to ISO, to access it. -Lars -- Unsupported OS X is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> Support Low End Mac <http://lowendmac.com/lists/support.html> Unsupported OS X list info <http://lowendmac.com/lists/unsupported.html> --> AOL users, remove "mailto:" Send list messages to: <mailto:UnsupportedOSX@mail.maclaunch.com> To unsubscribe, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> For digest mode, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subscription questions: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Archive <http://www.mail-archive.com/unsupportedosx%40mail.maclaunch.com/> iPod Accessories for Less at 1-800-iPOD.COM Fast Delivery, Low Price, Good Deal www.1800ipod.com
