I gave the box a Sonnet ATA Card and >the Drive is screaming now with 40 MB per second max rate. This is helpful. I had some trouble early on, while booting into OS9. I have been exclusively OS X, no Classic for these past couple months, and perhaps that's the real issue. Maybe I'll try to boot into OS 9, or open Classic sometime, to see if I have that same trouble. I can't remember if that was before or after I used the alternate drive jumpers... Either way, I am quite happy with being exclusively OS X. I can always use my other machines for the older stuff... -Lars -- Unsupported OS X is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> Support Low End Mac <http://lowendmac.com/lists/support.html> Unsupported OS X list info <http://lowendmac.com/lists/unsupported.html> --> AOL users, remove "mailto:" Send list messages to: <mailto:UnsupportedOSX@mail.maclaunch.com> To unsubscribe, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> For digest mode, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subscription questions: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Archive <http://www.mail-archive.com/unsupportedosx%40mail.maclaunch.com/> iPod Accessories for Less at 1-800-iPOD.COM Fast Delivery, Low Price, Good Deal www.1800ipod.com
