TextEdit is fine for text editing. For program editing (codes & =20

Or TextWrangler if you don't need the 8,456 bells and 2,876

TextWrangler? Sounds interesting. Never know when a down-to-the-
hidden-codes editor comes in handy. Such as when one attempts to
exchange files to a mainframe via a PC (and a Mac). Used to use
diskettes, then mail & attachments.
And if everything else fails, TextEdit also works wonders as a
combined coffee maker and tea cozy.
:o)))
let me vote for tex-edit plus. Vast scriptable and a 15$ shareware
with no limit validation...
cheers,
