Dear all, We have made the following additions to the 2007 summer residency in our international MFA in New Media program:
Un-Curating with Aaron Levy In response to increased interest in issues around curating, both from current and new students, we are happy to announce new faculty member Aaron Levy. Aaron is Executive Director and a Senior Curator at Slought Foundation. He has organized over 200 exhibitions and events on contemporary art and theory with figures such as Hélène Cixous, Arakawa + Gins, Gayatri Spivak, William Anastasi, Dennis Oppenheim, and Hal Foster. In March 2007 he co-organized Evasions of Power, an international conference situated at the intersection of literature, architecture, and geopolitics. Aaron will offer a seminar entitled "Uncurating: Discursivity and Drift Politics in Contemporary Curatorial Practice" this summer.
