The October gathering of the Nebraska Lutherans for Confessional Study (NLCS) 
will be held on Thursday, October 21 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 3825 
Wildbriar Lane in Lincoln. Refreshments will be in the fellowship hall at 9:30 
am followed by Matins at 10 am. Presenter for the morning will be Rev. Craig 
Niemeier, Zion Lutheran Church in Worms, NE.  His topic will be "Giver and 
Receiver:  A contextual and grammatical study of Ephesians 4:12"   The morning 
session will start at about 10:30. Following lunch the afternoon topic, 
starting at about 1 pm., will be by Rev. Ryan Loeslie from Immanuel Lutheran 
Church in Merna. His presentation will focus on the “Amt Theses” from Walther’s 
Church and Ministry.  Meeting will conclude by 2:30 pm. Everyone is invited, 
both clergy and laity. A free-will offering will be taken to help defray 
expenses.
