Visit us at www.emmanuelpress.us to learn more about these cards and our books!
Since the inception of Emmanuel Press in 2004, we have offered a
variety of books with the goal of “making treasures of Christian
literature from the past and present, especially from within the
Evangelical Lutheran Church, available to the world.” We have been
pleased and humbled at the reception our small press has received as
we have sought to provide liturgical, confessional, quality books to
our customers.
For the first time, we are expanding our scope beyond books to offer a
series of greeting cards that are meaningful in confession and
versatile in use. Using photographs taken in German cathedrals and
castles as well as the stunning artwork of Ed Riojas, we have combined
these images with appropriate Bible verses and the poetry of timeless
hymns to reflect the rich theology of our Christian faith.
It is our intent to create cards that can be used for a variety of
purposes. Our notecards offer text on the left side so that the right
side may be used for personal correspondence. Additionally, we have
omitted specific greetings in our Baptism and Eastertide cards to
allow for versatility. The Baptism cards may be given on the Baptism
day, in recognition of a Baptismal birthday, or used as Baptism
invitations by using the free downloadable Baptism invitations.
Likewise, the text in Eastertide card is not specific to one day, just
as our celebration of Christ’s resurrection is not limited by days and
seasons. The Eastertide card would make a beautiful invitation for
your familiy and friends in hosting an Easter meal or gathering.
