The November gathering of the Nebraska Lutherans for Confessional Study (NLCS)
will be held on Thursday, November 11 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 3825
Wildbriar Lane in Lincoln. Refreshments will be in the fellowship hall at 9:30
am followed by Matins at 10 am. Presenter for the morning will be Rev. Jack
Kirk, Immanuel and Bethlehem Lutheran Churchs in Bremen, KS. His topic will be
"Confess Christ Before Men-Lutheran Education for the 21st Century." The
morning session will start at about 10:30. Following lunch the afternoon topic,
starting at about 1 pm., will be by Rev. Ryan Loeslie from Immanuel Lutheran
Church in Merna. His presentation will focus on the “Amt Theses” from Walther’s
Church and Ministry. Meeting will conclude by 2:30 pm. Everyone is invited,
both clergy and laity. A free-will offering will be taken to help defray
expenses.
