First, MS SQL isn't THAT bad. Secondly, I don't think the script you want
(which I don't think is possible because of reliability issues) is really
what you need. Really hard to tell, though, with the information you
provided.

If you can respond back with some table structure, many of us here would be
willing to help.  Initially though, from the info you provide, you're going
to want to use a Left Join.
