K, if you want to know why people don't respond there are 2 possible reasons. Timing and common courtesy. You help others and are nice, and they help you.
Let's look at what the ole' email history has... Ah, here we are, comments from Mr Meyer... > I seem to hear so much oppinion from people like you, yet they have no portfolio. Talk is cheap. > What the hell? Are you insecure? I was questioning your information spewing... do you have production to back up your spew? You sent me a half finished site. > My client has 5 homes out there and when people look for Jacobs ranch on the Internet I want to slap that person who made the site. You should receive a fine for putting that crap on the Internet. See a pattern here? If not, this picture may help. http://www.bigstockphoto.com/thumbs/5/1/2/medium/215988.jpg There is more, but I'll spare you. Now on the other side of the coin, you did have 3 emails that I found that didn't have rude comments. What I'd strongly recommend is that you implement rules in your email client to filter emails from uphpu into a specific folder so that it doesn't fill your inbox, and then just scan the topics that you find interesting. Delete the rest.
