What OS are you on? I don't think that FF on Mac does this? You
could save the page source out do your desktop as a file. That
isn't convenient but that would probably save a reload.
On the topic of viewing source, you might like the Firefox plugin
called "View Source Chart" below. It formats and colors your source
for easier reading.
I've never seen your concern before, but perhaps this plugin would
behave correctly.
