So, until css allows multiple backgrounds on a single element this is
what I do.
I also to put in the whole image but if the screen is stretched so that
the div becomes wider than the image, the image does not stretch to meet
the background size - is there any way to have the background image
stretch to meet a larger sized div ?
I guess I can't quite picture what you are trying to do. Could you post an
image somewhere so we can
see what you are trying to do?
I draw a rounded box & save it as a 200 x 100 px png. I put it in my
css as backround-image: url("mybackground.png");
But if the div is not a fixed width and stretches out to 300 px - the
image is chopped at 200 - I would like the image to be stretched to the
full 300
