Have any of you taken or heard of Redhat Training and Certification? Do
you think it is a viable credential? Would you take courses if money
was not an issue?

In the past, I have not been a big fan of certifications...however, I have found that they do demonstrate your professionalism and your dedication to the work you want to do.

+1 certifications

If you can get your company to foot the bill, that is even better!

On a side note, I don't think that certifications should replace overall education. Meaning I would not get a certification, without first, trying to get a degree in my field. Some fields require certifications beyond the education. I see certifications augmenting your learning after any higher learning.

Yes, if "money and time was not an issue" i would strive to acquire additional certifications.
