Personally my favorite editors are zend and E (which is a windows like
version of textmate),
Zend is really nice but is a hog on system resource, and can only hand
so many language with syntax and such, where as E is very fast and works
with textmates plugins so it does everything from php to yaml to
postscript syntax highlighting and allows a custom enviroment for each,
but is missing some of the nice features in zend like auto complete,
built in ftp and the database browser, also some other editors I've used
in the past have ssh terminals which would be pretty slick.
Do you know what you plan to write it in? java, c++, possiblly php+gtk

This came up the other day, and I hear it every once in awhile.
So I started thinking about it, and I was wondering what people would
want out of a PHP IDE.
If I were to write one, what would you want?
