I would argue that did exactly as that book says. He got right to the
point about what he wanted and didn't waste a lot of time telling us
about himself. Yes he did say what the survey was for, but it was short
and sweet. Sure he didn't tell us about how it would be great for us
but honestly, there was nothing in it for us. So it's nice he didn't
pretend like there was.
That all said I'm more of a "Seven Habits" person myself.
