Look under that brown box with the blue circles in the upper left
corner. You should see a small gray box with the word Follow. At
least, it worked for me.

I'm definitely logged in since I can go to my home page and see all my
options, and I have a "Sign out" option at the top of the page.
However, when I go to http://twitter.com/uphpu and search the whole
page for the word 'follow', I get 5 hits. None of them give me an
option to follow the group.
