Have you tried a 301 redirect?
(can't think of the syntax off the top of my head, but something along
the lines of:)
RewriteEngine On
RewriteCond %{HTTP_URL} ^/foobar [NC]
RewriteRule ^/(.*) https://domain.tld/$1 [L,R]
