I have actually used jpgraph previously, and it wasn't bad at all to set up
in my case (php5-gd on Debian), but I'm sure some of the other solutions
suggested here are more robust than jpgraph is.

I went with jpgraph at the time because I needed a simple way to just
generate a graph as an image and have it displayed on a lightweight status
display monitor and sent in email reports. So portability outweighed the
flashy/interactive factor and I went with that. The options Richard
mentioned above are great (I love FusionCharts), but they rely on flash and
client-side scripting, which means it may not work in all situations. If you
have clients that might want to use their shiny new iPad or iPhone to check
up on stats, or a busy CEO that doesn't keep his web browser at home
updated, they won't be thrilled if they can't see the charts properly.

If you're in a similar situation, I'd keep these scenarios in mind. I know
as a user, personally, I'd love to use the FusionChart UI over the rather
bland graphs that jpgraph generates... but I'd sacrifice that if it meant I
could have the charts emailed to me automatically or that I could check
stats while mobile.

Hope this helps.

Michael
