I am trying to implement a single-sign-on solution that involves desktop Microsoft Windows computers and a website. When employees authenticate against active directory, I want them to not have to sign on to the company intranet that they access via a web browser. This has been successfully done at our company by a previous developer, but he—unfortunately—no longer works here. I have been told that the technology being using for authentication here is NTLM and a combination of Winbind and Samba. These are areas that new to me though. Does anyone have any experience with this?
