I have some friends who are working on setting up a small online shop, but
it would be a bigger side project than I'd want to handle myself at the
moment. I've confirmed that they have what I consider to be a reasonable
budget for what I understand of their expectations. If you're interested in
putting in an estimate (even just a ball park for now), let me know and
I'll pass information along to them.

Here's the basic requirements they gave me:

Internet store - wholesale apparel
The site doesn't have to be custom built, it can be built using Word press,
but with our own custom design.
It has to be a good quality site with the ability for us to add and change
merchandise.

What we also need:
*Cart with credit card and wire transfer payment options.
*Recomendations on sku page for items in the same category, or even other
categories (which ever is easier)
*ability to categorize some items in different collections and have a
clearance section as well as new items section
*Subscribe to emails option would be nice and the way to send emails to
those who subscribed.

They've also shown me their proposed designs, and it looks like putting a
custom theme (or putting their graphics into an existing theme) would
probably work well with something like WordPress or a reasonable shopping
cart software.

They're not in a huge hurry, but I think they're ready to move when they
find the right person/people to help develop the site.

Thanks,
Mac
