Put an /index.html on the end of the Unicon-hosted URLs and they seem to
work, e.g.
http://www.unicon.net/api/uPortal_rel-2-3-4/index.html
I'll see about getting that hosting tweaked so they auto-redirect to the
index file instead of 403ing.
JA-SIG doesn't currently comprehensively host JavaDocs for its projects
(the JavaDocs you did find for 2.6.0 are from the Maven-generated
snapshots). It's probably something we should start doing. Efforts are
afoot to move to a better ja-sig.org server and this could be something
to address once that's done (currently we seem to keep running out of
disk space...)
I believe the JavaDocs are included with the 2.5.3 .zip release from the
downloads page, so you should be able to get them that way, no?

Where are the javadocs for previous releases of uPortal?
I found a link to uP 2.6.0 at
http://developer.ja-sig.org/projects/uportal/apidocs/index.html and I
found a wiki page with links to many listed versions of uP 2.x but
they all seem to be dead links
(http://www.ja-sig.org/wiki/display/UPC/Javadoc+API+Documentation).
Is this just because no one is maintaining the list and updating the
hrefs or have the javadocs been removed from the internets or am I
just missing it somewhere or do we just expect the developers to
create their own from source? I'm specifically looking for uP 2.5.3
but curious about all of them.
