Is that a model other portlet containers support? Is that preferable
to making the portlet authors do something like bundle "summary-
portlet" "main-portlet" or something like that into a single webapp,
or using JSR-286 events or something? I know on the portlets yahoo
group and other bits I see a lot of developers asking how to do that
kind of interportlet linking -- I'm wondering if there's already a
conception in most people's heads that a portlet is a discrete bit of
UI and the container should support linking.
Hmm... is this preferable to implementing something like a "portlet
layout group" maybe that let you bundle multiple different view
portlets (I guess a pulled/pushed layout fragment)?
I'll try to hop on IRC at some point and maybe we can get a
discussion going somewhere realtime-ish?
