I have just committed the changes for UP-1834
(http://www.ja-sig.org/issues/browse/UP-1834). This enhancement is
the Import/Export technology discussed on this list, at the JHU dev
meeting, at the summer conference, and at the recent unconference.

Another big thanks to Yale University for their tremendous help in
making this effort come together.
