Barbara has conducted a first round of user testing with the reorderable portlet mockup found at
http://build.fluidproject.org (last link on the page)

and has posted her results on the wiki, at
http://wiki.fluidproject.org/display/fluid/Portlet+Layout+Manager+Results

Her testing has identified a couple of major points that we have decided to prioritize:

1) We need the ability to move portlets into an 'empty' column.
http://issues.fluidproject.org/browse/FLUID-187
Currently, if you move all of the portlets out of a column, you cannot move portlets back into the empty column.
We estimate 4 days to implement this functionality.

2) Auto scroll for Portal window when moving a portlet up or down in a long list.
http://issues.fluidproject.org/browse/FLUID-225
Currently, the browser window does not automatically scroll if the user tries to drag a portlet to a location that is off-screen.
We estimate 3 days to address this.

Barbara will be conducting more user tests later this week. We will not be looking at these issues during our current iteration, but we might get to them next iteration (next week).
