I know this is a feature complete release, but is it at least

Why not file a JIRA issue, and we can look at putting it into a 3.0.1?
I suspect we should really be focusing over the next few weeks on
nailing testing & stability given the amount of new code involved.
Also, I don't know this is worth to file an issue, but the Sign in
link in the quickstart leads to localhost, so one can not easily try
this. Isn't it possible to detect the used hostname from the request?
Hmmm... possible, but I think a possible security concern (I know on
the CAS list Andrew has posted a number of times on this topic), and
there's always concerns about defaulting to an insecure scenario. I
think the most common scenario for the quickstart is downloading to a
desktop computer, though I could be mistaken. I assume you're looking
to deploy it out to a test server?
