Yes, these files have moved and the 3.0 manual hasn't been updated yet. They are in the uportal-impl/src/main/resources/properties/db/entities/channel folder and you now use the 'ant crn-import' task to import them. For example to import a specific file the command would look like:

Under uPortal 3.0 are there examples of these files types? I have been reading 
the documentation about how to add these description files to the 
properties/chanpub directory to have a channel published on the fly 
programmatically; however, I cannot see this in uPortal 3.0. I am downloading 
uPortal 2.6.1 to see if the example is there.

If someone can point me to the location or examples for this type of file that 
would be great.
