Hi Thomas, I'm curious as to what specifically you're looking for here. How would you want the portlet to differ from the existing administrative screen? Is it just a question of the channel manager being hard to use (I would agree that it is!), or are there features that you want that are missing from it?
I believe that if you wait a while, new user sessions will eventually see the updated channel registry. As others have mentioned, the channel registry is cached for a while, but I don't think it's cached indefinitely. I think this is a problem you're likely to have to work around with the channel import files or an administrative portlet as well. - Jen On Tue, Apr 8, 2008 at 8:13 AM, Thomas S.
