Just wondering what peoples ideas are about a standard way to handle
AJAX style callbacks in uPortal. We have a random assortment of plain
servlets and Spring controllers right now, each with its own URL and
parameter syntax. I'd like to have a path for a standard way that we
implement these callbacks in uPortal and am looking for ideas.
Do we actually design a REST based API for these operations?
Do we use XML, JSON, HTML or some combination for inputs and outputs to
calls?
Do we use Spring Controllers or is there some other server-side
framework we should look into?
Just looking for ideas and suggestions!
