I would like to propose Steve Swinsburg as a uPortal committer. Steve has volunteered to help with the uPortal maven plugin. Steve has also provided patches to the uPortal community in the past.
Steve is also a very active participant in the Sakai community. I have seen the contributions Steve has made on both Jasig and Sakai mailing lists for a long time. Last summer I had a chance to even get to know Steve a little bit better as we had a chance to do a couple of activities together at the Sakai conference.
