With the way the portlet container works, spanning multiple webapps, I
don't like trying to just reload one webapp. I prefer a whole tomcat
restart. I also find the tomcat logging, while excessive most of the
time, extremely useful in a debugging scenario.
I would second the recommendation of using the Sysdeo Tomcat Plugin.
I've tried alternatives before, but not work as simply and smoothly as
that one.
