Greetings uPortal Devs:I've attached a patch that we used here locally to allow sites with a self-signed certificate to interact with the WebProxyPortlet. Without this patch, you get errors if the proxied content is not secured with an authentic certificate. Its just some added code to one file and doesnt' need extra libs or anything else. It could also probably be factored out to a portlet preference but thats more then we needed for the time being. All of our production servers interacting with the web proxy portlet are using valid certs, but this has been helpful for testing and development of the proxied content when real certs are not always readily available. Not sure if I should submit this as a Jira issue or if there is a queue for the jasig hosted portlets. Let me know if you want me to do anything else with it.Thanks.
