Hi folks, I'd like to see if we can add a tag to Jasig JIRA for issues that are being addressed by Unicon cooperative support. Unicon's cooperative support contributes quite a bit of development based on public Jasig JIRA issues, and being able to filter on the JIRAs would help us keep our contribution organized.
My thought is that this would be comparable to the way we currently assign JIRAs to individual committers; in addition to being able to assign a JIRA to myself and set it to an "in progress" status, I'd be able to mark a JIRA as being in progress via cooperative support. I think this would help us keep better track of the status of items we're contributing to without creating a secondary system that isn't visible to the Jasig community. I don't know if tags can be general rather than project-specific, but if JIRA supports it, a general tag would be terrific.
