We use Sungard's Banner on our campus. We setup BEIS to allow for SSO from uPortal to Banner web.
I noticed it will not log the user in (SSO) when the user had not completed a forced survey within banner web, it will direct the user to the native banner web login form in this situation. After the survey was completed, I logged back into uPortal, clicked the link to log into banner web and it was successful. I replicated the error and completing the survey allowed me to log in (via uPortal) successfully.
