I don't want to derail the current vote. But after a couple of these
proposals have come through I thought it was time to share a thought.
Most of these votes I have had no basis to support an opinion on. Other
then maybe the person who was doing the recommendation.
In the future, it would be helpful if people could include an example or
two of where the person has participated in some fashion. The best bet
would be pull requests or patch files the person has produced. Lacking
that, at least maybe some participation in jira or confluence.
Just a suggestion. Without these things I'll just continue to watch the
votes go by without being able to cast a vote one way or another.
