Sorry Andrew(s), it does not happen to me on my Linux/Mint system.
Josh H mentioned something forking off a java process or shell being an
issue with Mac systems possibly causing this. This makes sense as I had
changed the build process to fork invoke maven to deal with the
dependency issues that we had with the ant maven tasks. I'll have to
leave it to one of you Mac users to troubleshoot and fix this. If
that's what it is, perhaps there is an option on the fork that you could
pass in.

uPortal developers,
At some point the uPortal build started stealing focus on my Mac.
You know the drill. `ant deploy-war`. That sucker takes 2 minutes and 36 seconds,
without the "clean".
Rather than sit on my hands, I figure that's just long enough to edit a few
words in the Draft buffer I have open for the Pull Request description that
will eventually accompany the changeset I'm testing.
Except there I am typing along and something in the build process steals focus,
a couple times actually, during that two minutes.
In general, I don't often appreciate anything stealing focus.
In specific, I *certainly* don't want a non-interactive command line build
process to steal focus.
Anyone know how to make it stop doing that?
