That sounds great. One thing I'd like to suggest is before we spend much time maintaining and enhancing this project to check and see if we are happy with an equivalent that is being maintained by others (ours is a fork from a codehaus project, see http://search.maven.org/#search%7Cga%7C1%7Cjspc for others though only net.maulhiz looks recent).
One item I found that might be worth pursuing as an alternative is: https://tomcat.apache.org/tomcat-7.0-doc/jasper-howto.html#Web_Application_Compilation I don't know if this does all of what the jspc maven plug-in does since I haven't looked at either, but it is a Tomcat product. There is an equivalent 8.0 version (they suggest to compile for your Tomcat version). https://tomcat.apache.org/tomcat-8.0-doc/jasper-howto.html#Web_Application_Compilation James Wennmacher - Unicon 480.558.2420 On 09/30/2015 10:46 AM, Andrew W Petro wrote: > > World, > > > I just exercised GitHub/Jasig admin privileges to grant the > "uportal-developers" GitHub "team" write access to > > > https://github.com/Jasig/jspc-maven-plugin > > . > > > uPortal's build depends upon this plugin, which has not been > maintained for a couple years or so, and Tim Levett mentioned interest > in doing some maintenance. > > > This repo only has one committer in its history (hi, Eric!) > > > https://github.com/Jasig/jspc-maven-plugin/graphs/contributors > > > So I assume there will be no objections from existing committers. 😊 > > > Kind regards, > > > Andrew > > > -- > > You are currently subscribed to [email protected] as: > [email protected] > To unsubscribe, change settings or access archives, see > http://www.ja-sig.org/wiki/display/JSG/uportal-dev -- You are currently subscribed to [email protected] as: [email protected] To unsubscribe, change settings or access archives, see http://www.ja-sig.org/wiki/display/JSG/uportal-dev
