I prefer clearly Option 1, getting the syntax right on upstart jobs is
not the biggest concern, but hardcode existing applications, doesn't
sound like something to be considered as a solution. I'm working on an
ubuntu derivative distribution, those i can understand the need for a
short term solution, but here is not the time and reason behind to do
something like that.
