benar, maka Marco Materazzi dalam masalah besar. Provokasi yang
dilakukannya sangat kejam yakni menyebut Zinedine Zidane sebagai 'anak
seorang pelacur teroris'.
Hasil pengamatan ahli pembaca gerak bibir bernama Marianne Frere
dipublikasikan oleh suratkabar The Sun seperti dilansir Tribalfootball,
Selasa (11/7/2006).
Materazzi mengucapkan provokasinya dalam bahasa Italia. Namun Zidane
bisa memahaminya karena pernah bermain selama lima tahun di Juventus.
Insiden berawal dari tugas Materazzi mengawal pergerakan Zidane. Pada
satu momen, bek Inter Milan itu meremas puting lawannya. Kalimat pertama
yang terbaca oleh Frere adalah, 'bola tinggi bukan untuk kotoran
sepertimu'.
Hinaan yang dimaksud dalam bahasa Italia ialah Feccia yang dalam bahasa
Inggris adalah scum atau s**t.
Usai hinaan ini, Zidane masih tersenyum dan berlalu. Tetapi kemudian
terbaca kalimat lain yakni, 'semua orang tahu kau adalah anak seorang
pelacur teroris'. Usai kalimat inilah Zidane membalikkan badannya dan
menanduk dada Materazzi.
Dari sumber orang yang dekat dengan tim Italia menambahkan, usai meremas
puting Zidane, Materazzi bertanya,"Kenapa, bukankah kau suka?" Zidane
membalas, "Sedikit terlalu keras untuk membuat aku terangsang." Namun
Materazzi kemudian melanjutkan, "Ya. Aku melakukannya karena aku tahu
