Subject: [EMED-L] Help! I am seeking Board certified Emergency Medicine physicians to cover shifts at the Naval Medical Center San DIego at $180 per hour. Due to the deployment of much of our staff I need to cover multiple shifts for an unknown amount of time. Malpractice insurance is provided and all shifts are 12 hours, with double coverage from 1300 to 2400. Primary duty will be resident oversight, not direct patient care. Annual volume is 57,000, admission rate is 9-13% and 30 percent of patients are peds. Must have CA license, temporary priviledges will be granted. This is a tertiary care facility with no trauma center but every other type of ICU and Specialty/subspecialty coverage. Anyone interested should contact Gregg Rohlfing at 800-325-3982, ext 4238.
