Hello Mike! I have recenlty bought that cable but havent used it yet -
Ill check this out in a free moment on some fpga device (2 bit
overworked right now), or you simply want to test if it connects? Ive
created a ticket not to forget :-)

Here goes the photo of the board - looks like FT245 connects PLD to the usb:
