Sorry I'm slow on these replies. With raw_display (hg latest) you have to ask for bold, eg. "white,bold" instead of just "white". Many terminals can display bright colours without making the text bold so I've tried to support that feature.
I also find bold text harder to read, so I really like this feature. About the suspending, are you saying that it works properly with the raw_display module?
