They have 5-6 openings Java/Oracle/Weblogic or Websphere Application Technology Support Positions Duration: Through end of 2010 Education: B.A. or B.S. degree or 4 years of equivalent experience in a related field. General Experience: Must have 6 years of computer experience in at least two of the following disciplines: systems analysis, systems programming, application programming, and equipment analysis, experience providing production support for a 24x7 application. Specialized Experience: At least 3 year of experience developing applications using advanced technologies, such as Internet protocols or web-based technology. Technologies include: Java/J2EE, Weblogic/Webphere, Oracle, PL/SQL SQL, Actuate BI/Reporting, VB, SQL Server. POS (point-of-sale) scanning/imaging. Duties: Must provide production support for a 24x7 application, manage issues, provide level-3 support, and perform break-fixes. This includes carrying a pager and being on call during a rotation.
