Title: Interaction Designer Location: San Jose, CA Duration: 6+ months contract RESPONSIBILITIES: * Help managing and enhancing a growing library of design patterns and UX guidelines * Work with other designers to design components used by multiple platforms (desktop, web, phone). Desktop application design experience is required. * Write detailed specifications for design patterns and components * Work with other stakeholders (application development teams, other UI designers, visual designers and UI developers) to qualify requirements, and negotiate successful designs * Work with graphic artists to define the look & feel of the UX library * Work with usability testers to design and conduct usability studies. QUALIFICATIONS: * 5+ years of experience designing software-user interfaces * Experience in writing UX specifications * Excellent written communication skills to transform wireframes and Photoshop images into detailed written specifications with enough depth of interaction details * Excellent time-management, multi-tasking ability, and the ability to prioritize * Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate in a cross-functional team * Experience designing desktop and Web-based applications Thanks & regards.......?
