Responsibilities: The Configuration Manager / Tech Risk Specialist designs, develops, upgrades, customizes, tests, implements and documents software components of the department's CM software and process. This position will assist with the rollout and implementation of the Configuration Management. This position is responsible for creating the code repository and working with developers to set up their individual work areas as well as to resolve potential issues. Additionally, this position will establish the migration process and customize problem-tracking tools to meet developers' and users' needs. This position also provides user support for tools and process. The position is responsible for training developers and analysts on the use of the toolset as well as the Configuration Management process. The person will also assist with the overall infrastructure of the SFT project including the development of scripts to assist the developers to manage their environment. The Configuration Manager will define and develop process, procedures to enhance the SFT SIR Development environment. Qualifications: Must-Have Skills: § Five or more years of knowledge of CM methodologies and ability to automate CM process Two or more years deployment, support and administration§ experience using Ab Initio Five or more years of UNIX (Sun Solaris), Perl,§ Shell scripts, ant and makefiles Five or more years of CM experience using§ CVS including tool administration experience Advanced knowledge using the§ ClearQuest problem tracking tool and cleartool commands Ability to work§ effectively in a team or matrixed environment; Ability to adapt to§ changing environment and requirements as well as the ability to support multiple projects Experience and proficiency in customer service, problem solving,§ and communication (verbal and written) Excellent teaming and leadership§ skills Nice to have Skills: Support and administration experience§ using Rational ClearCase Bachelor's degree in computer science or related§ major, or equivalent work experience in the IT industry Extensive§ knowledge of CM methodologies and ability to automate CM process Three or§ more years of experience developing code and working on the full development life cycle of small development projects Experience with web development§ projects *I MUST KNOW RATING AND HOW MANY YEARS OF EACH* 5+ years of CM administration experience Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment Ability to work during non-standard business hours Ability to work in a team environment Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) Excellent customer service skills Excellent problem solving skills Excellent relationship management skills Knowledge and use of problem tracking tools and cleartool commands Knowledge of Database Systems and Application Servers Thanks & regards.......?
