Job Title: SCM Developer.
Location: Pittsburgh, PA.
Duration: 11+ Months.
*Position Description:*
This position will work with the SCM Sr. Engineers and SCM Engineers to
stabilize the build and release framework using Maven to deploy/install AD
written code/applications to cross-platform environments and support the IT
Infrastructure. This position will be required to train AD on integrating
the maven framework in to their development environment
*Candidate must have extensive experience with the following enterprise
softwares:
*UNIX such as:
Sun Solaris
IBM AIX
HP-UX
Linux such as:
Red Hat Advanced Server
Oracle Database & Client
BEA WebLogic Platform
X-Windows, SSH
Websphere Platform on the Systemi/IBMi
Candidate should have skills with the following *scripting and automation
tools*:
KSH & BASH Shells
Perl
ANT
MAKE
Maven
Eclipse
WDSC/Rational Application Developer
* Coding* Knowledge of the following *programming languages*:
Java: Focus on J2EE technologies
C/C++
Oracle PL/SQL
Experience with *SCM tools
* Subervsion
Merant PVCS Version Manager
CVS
Borland StarTeam
Subversion
Tivoli
- Experience with large client/server/database software development projects
- Experience with web applications development
- Experience with Subversion and Borland StarTeam Version Control Tool a
plus.
*Minimum years experience in the following areas:**
*5-7 years experience in Application Development and/or Software
Configuration Management
*Education requirements:*
4 year degree in Computer Science or related field
