Title: Sharepoint Architect Location: Washington DC
Length: 6+ Months Industry: Fainancial / Mortgage KEY EXPERIENCE: This will be for a Sharepoint Architect. This role of this person is not only to support the SharePoint platform for the Enterprise, it is to include the following roles: - Architect for the platform - Customer facing engineer - Comfortable with demonstrations and executive presentations - Solutions Architect for the platform - End User Solutions for SharePoint - Potential cross platform expertise Primary responsibility of Senior Application Engineer is to develop cost-effective end user technologies that deliver functional business solutions. Application Engineering of business solutions includes both client & servers systems, with focus on the Microsoft Platform. Proven experienceq implementing, configuring & supporting Enterprise-class application systems. Experience working within structured (iterative models preferred)q development lifecycle & methodology, Systems Integration & Infrastructure Optimization experience leveraging documented APIs & related and technologies Ability to own and resolve complex SharePoint systemq problems, engaging necessary teams as required, including Microsoft Ableq to engineer technical solutions, including prepare detailed written/visual documentation (using Word with Fannie Mae-approved templates, Visio, Excel, PowerPoint), and demonstrate strong analytical & problem-solving skills. Minimum of 3 years demonstrated hands-on experience with the deployment,q configuration, and implementation of Microsoft SharePoint (MOSS 2007). q Methodical approach to troubleshooting application and system issues q Self-motivated with ability to set & meet deadlines on multiple projects without frequent supervision Able to prepare weekly status reports, asq well as reports for technical and business managers Detailed knowledge ofq networking concepts (i.e., TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS) Bachelors Degree orq equivalent work experience SharePoint 2007 experienceq Experienceq working within structured (iterative models preferred) development lifecycle & methodology, Systems Integration & Infrastructure Optimization experience, while leveraging documented APIs Knowledge in administration,q configuration & customization of Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 (MOSS 2007) and Windows SharePoint Services.
