Please look for local Atlanta candidates only. Resource will be leading the development of next-generation guest facing software. (Both online and offline browser based systems) Resource will work with project manager, client, and internal teams to design and develop software solutions that align with the company's long term technology roadmap. Resource will be focused on innovation and proof of concept projects. Responsibilities will include identification of supporting hardware/venders, integration of new devise, configuration of operation system and drivers, and system/software architecture. Resource will not be responsible for writing FSDs, wireframes, or performing QA. Resource must be an out-of-the box thinker, a good communicator, able to work both independently and within a team, and interface with other business teams. Resource must have in depth knowledge of Linux operating systems and be able to perform duties such as: install new OS, compile drivers, setup networking interfaces, perform work out of a shell. Software responsibilities will be related to standard web technologies such as PHP, Java, MySQL, SOAP, and JavaScript. Resource must be comfortable in a highly dynamic and changing environment. Hotel experience is a plus. The ideal candidate will have the "get it" factor. Someone who just loves getting their hands dirty in technology of all kinds. Additionally the ideal candidate is one who thrives on coming up with innovative and elegant solutions to complex problems.
