Job Title: Mainframe QA Lead.
Location: Strongsville, OH.
Duration: Long Term.
*JOB DESCRIPTION:*
Senior resource will join existing team to manage and coordinate all Test
related activities through an agile project methodology and release
implementation effort.
Position Requirements:
Driving force to create and maintain the testing deliverables identified
through the work break down structure.
Significant contributor to the project schedule for testing and planning
purposes which includes but is not limited to estimating of tasks and
activities for effort based project planning
Responsible for ensure the creation of comprehensive Test Cases, Test
Scripts, and use of testing automation where appropriate
Provides feedback to Business Analyst / Systems Analysts on the clearness,
accuracy of the requirements for the purpose of defined acceptance criteria
Responsible for updating the governance deliverables from testing
perspectives
Responsible for setting up Test Environments, Coordination of LST, and
sign-off of WBS completed deliverables form a quality perspective
Responsible for creating a Defect Management Strategy and ensuring the
ongoing execution of the strategy by the testing team
Responsible for the evaluation of resource required for overall testing
execution
Review all proposed change request to advise the change board on the impact
to the project from a testing perspective
Detailed knowledge of ReqPro and Clearquest
The Ideal Candidate:
Have experience in managing testing for large complex project within
moderate to large financial institutions

- MQ, Web Methods, Oracle
- J2EE
- Business Rules Engines and Business Events
- Workflow management
- Mainframe Environments
- DDA
- SVN
- CIMS
Demonstrate the capabilities to take large project initiatives and be able
to help the team break it into logical parts for deployment in phases
Expertise in leading testing team through virtual environments including
offshore models
Must be able to assess the program and the current testing methodology to
determine the best strategic execution approach
Must be able to interpret and potential contribute to all project
deliverables created in the discovery, requirements, design, and build
phases of the project also for input into testing deliverables
Must be a driver and act with tenacity
Must be a proactive team player
Must be a good facilitator
Must demonstrate the capability to lead a team to ensure the overall quality
of the project
