Description


The Project Manager / Process Analyst role is expected to provide expertise
in analysis, planning, and execution projects in support of the Servicing
Workstream of the Fannie Mae Credit Loss Initiative. 
Project Manager Function 
. Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet
changing needs and requirements. 
o Role includes identification, onboarding, and management of financial,
personnel, and contractual resources 
. Manages day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope. 
o Lead role tracking and reporting project status to appropriate management
boards for review and approval of milestones, control gates, schedules; 
o Lead / Support role developing and maintaining strong customer and
stakeholder allegiance to projects, through understanding customers' needs,
excellent communications with the customer and stakeholders, excellent
customer support; 
o Support role in managing / analyzing project budget. 
. Reviews deliverables prepared by team before passing to client. 
. Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.

Process Analyst Function 
. Responsible for performing operational impact analyses, reviewing /
editing business process flows, and reporting findings as required. 
. Perform management reporting functions as needed, including report design,
metrics definitions, data analysis and report distribution; consult with
management and process owners to define and implement appropriate metrics
and management reporting within and across departments; evaluate existing
management and operational reports across the division to identify
opportunities to streamline reporting functions. 
Qualifications 
. Strong project management skills required; must be able to handle multiple
projects simultaneously and manage deliverable timelines effectively;
knowledge of software development lifecycle required, including prior
experience in requirements analysis, design, testing, and implementation. 
. Strategic Thinking, Analytical & Problem Solving Skills: excellent
analytical and problem solving skills required; must be able to analyze
complex issues, assess the impact on existing processes and systems and
identify underlying root causes; must be able to develop and implement
solutions to meet the needs of the business. 
. Strong communication and consulting skills are essential; must be able to
understand the information needs of internal and external customers and
develop solutions accordingly; exceptional customer service and relationship
management skills required; must be able to communicate effectively with all
levels in the organization; must be able to create clear, well written
end-user documentation and provide training and system demos to
stakeholders. 
. Strong end-to-end process focus is required; must be committed to
operational discipline and continuous improvement; understanding of SOX
controls and Lean Six Sigma methodology are considered a plus. 
. Strong technical skills are required: proficiency with Microsoft Office
tools is essential (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project); in addition, prior
experience using business reporting and database management tools such as
SAS, SQL, PL/SQL, and Business Objects is preferred; 
. Minimum of five years of work experience, preferably in the areas of
business analysis and project management; prior experience in the mortgage
industry is highly desirable; understanding of Fannie Mae products,
processes, data and systems considered a plus. 
. Bachelor's degree in business administration, information systems, or
computer science required; MBA preferred.
