Job Title: Sr. Peoplesoft HR.
Location: Smithfield, RI.
Duration: 6+ Months.
*Job Description:*
**Act in a lead role facilitating systems development items resulting from
business line requests, application updates and functionality upgrades by
performing all steps in the development life cycle.
Provide technical support for application development, data conversions,
vendor interfaces and internal data transfers.
Work with Citizens Manufacturing (IT) group on HR for development and
technical projects.
Assist with the planning and execution of activities necessary to ensure
optimization of HR applications.
Support the development of comprehensive data models in conjunction with the
HR Business Intelligence team.
Partner with the HR Project Management group and HR business lines to assess
the development needs and consult with them on alternatives by providing an
evaluation of options with recommendations to meet needs. Collaborate with
client to develop, test and implement best alternative.
Lead HR technology projects of moderate scope and complexity. This would
include evaluating issues, formulating a plan of action with required
resources and estimated timelines, communicating status to clients and
executing plan through implementation.
*Technical Knowledge:*
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience, advanced degree a plus.
- Experience with PeopleSoft HCM (version 8) and PeopleTools required
including version upgrades.
- Exposure to various reporting technologies such as Business Objects is
highly desired.
- Minimum of 6 years experience with relational database architecture and
models. (Oracle and SQL Server preferred), and familiarity with network
architectures.
- Experience using a structured systems development methodology required.
- Strong problem solving and analytical.
